John Zheng
CFO
John Zheng is pursuing graduate studies at Harvard, with concentrations in
strategic management and real estate investment. Prior to Harvard, he was
the youngest student to graduate from the University of Minnesota Duluth at
the age of 19 and was named National Student of the Year in 2019 by Business Professionals of America. John has experience in mortgage banking, real estate investment, marketing, and nonprofit work. He has established a real estate acquisition company, purchasing small single family and multifamily properties in the Midwest. Prior to real estate, he owned and operated online drop-shipping
stores and digital product ventures.
Xander Smaby
President & CEO
Xander Smaby is a Schulze Innovation Scholar in undergrad studies at the University of St. Thomas majoring in Finance and Entrepreneurship. Prior to attending St. Thomas, Xander went to the Minnesota Center for Advanced Professional Studies (MNCAPS). With a background in consumer goods, Xander has held positions at both Powerplay Retail and McKinsey & Company. Beyond corporate work, he has additionally started two prior companies, Stimulus Consulting and Luminary, with ECON being the third.
Annabel Cho
COO
Annabel Cho studies Engineering Sciences (with a Biomedical focus) at Harvard College.She is an associate at the Harvard College Consulting Group, recently studying racial disparities in influenza vaccine uptake for a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company. Annabel is also a biomedical imaging researcher at Harvard Medical School and Mass General Hospital and has presented her work at the BMES and SfN conferences.
Erik Anderson
VP of Construction & Development
Erik Anderson is a Schulze Innovation Scholar and Entrepreneurship major
at the University of St. Thomas, and Stanford University Innovation Fellow.
Erik has experience in residential and commercial real estate development.
He is an incoming development associate at Scannell, one of the nation’s higher producing developers. Prior to college, Erik started and successfully operated
a yard and snow care business, successfully selling the client list and
equipment before going off to college.
Delila Gonyea
VP of Real Estate & Governance
Delila Gonyea is a Schulze Innovation Scholar at the University of St. Thomas majoring in Entrepreneurship and minoring in sustainability. She has interned at Willa’s Oat Milk as a sales and marketing intern while pursing a career in real estate with the Fairchild Robinson group at RE/MAX Results.
